my car shut down and wont start. Message appeared service onstar. How do I get it to start again

You need to have the computer scanned to determine what is causing the problem. Contact a nationally recognized parts store and see if they will rent or lend one to you.

Let me know what you find.

As far as the security system, if that is the problem, turn the key to the run position and let it there for about 10 minutes to see if the light go off. That is the process to bypass the security system.
