2000 Oldsmobile Bravada NO HEAT

I HAVE LITTLE TO NO HEAT, ANTIFREEZE IS FINE CHANGED THE THERMOSTAT, I HAVE ANTFREEZE COMING OUT OF THE HEATER CORE RETURN LINE BUT JUST A TRICKLE. THE LINE IS COLD TO THE TOUCH. COULD MY HEATER CORE BE PLUGGED, IF SO CAN I UNPLUG IT?

First off look at both the heater core hoses and look for a heater control valve. May have one. If so make sure that is functioning properly. Remove inline and see the coolant come form there. Is it alot or just a trickle also. Both hoses stay cold? How far back can you trace the lines before they warm up.

To unplug a heater core just hook up the lines and run water through it. Then run water thorugh it the opposite way. Keep this up untill water coming out is clear and fast flowing.
