When I firmly depress the brakes the steering wheel pulls to the right very noticibly. It feels like the right wheel moves. Do you think it is the balljoints?

Hi:

Certainly, it could be a ball joint, a tie rod, or any steering component. Also, if you have a brake issue, it can cause that as well. For example, if the left caliper isn't working properly, the majority of the braking will be done by the right side causing a pull. Do me a favor. I would first recommend lifting one wheel at a time in the front and checking for play in the wheel. Also, take a look through this link and let me know your thoughts.

Let me know.
