1997 Oldsmobile Bravada 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 139k miles

My Bravada died one night while driving home from work and would not start back up. We got the truck home and after several tests and scans determined it was a bad fuel pump. However, after replacing the fuel pump, fuel filter and distributor cap the truck will start but will not stay started. When reconnected to the scanner we are not getting any code to point us to the problem. In Fact no codes show up at all. What should we do next?

Does vehicle start and stall? First thing is to check anti theft system. Start vehicle and leave key on, observe security light, it should light then go out after a couple seconds. If it doesnot go out and continually flashes, you have a problem with security system. Let us know, we can walk you through programming.
