Heater not blowing out hot air

Heater problem
2002 Oldsmobile Alero 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown 51000 miles

My heater is not blowing out hot air. I just had the heater knobs/panel replaced last year because the adjusters were not connecting. Now the heat is not blowing out hot air. Could there be a problem with the replacement or is this a new repair problem.

The heat starts out warm for a few seconds then starts blowing cold air

Hello,

This sounds like the temperature blend door actuator has gone bad not moving the door to adjust the temperature.

Thank you it was a little tough to get to the upper screw but I made it happen now the heater works YA!
