I went to Pennsylvania to get this car. I went and looked at it and it looked good, but the only thing was it would smoke white for a couple minutes after running then it would go away and not smoke anymore. So I was like okay, so I drove it home to Ohio I got it home let it set for a couple hours after the trip home which was about two hundred miles two and half hour drive, after letting it sit I start it up and go get some food as I am driving the car just dies and the oil light comes on and now it wont Start. It is full of oil and everything is checking out good so I am thinking it is the oil pump.

Did the oil light come after the engine died? Or while it was still running normal? The light will come on and stay on without the engine running.

Okay, it will stay on if the engine is not running. Have you checked the basics spark, fuel pressure etc?

The fuel pump was just replaced one month before I got it. I have the paperwork for it. Maybe that is faulty. How do you check for spark?

If it's redlining without pressing the gas you could have a large vacuum leak.
