I drive a vw polo 1.4.2009 model
i have been getting an issue of having oil mixing with coolant in my car, someone advised I buy a new oil cooler then flush out the radiator.
i am willing to do that, I wanted to know if that is enough to make sure this will not happen again.
this problem happened after changed a head gasket and replaced the water pump and belts.
please advise. If you can please send me a picture of the oil cooler fitted in my car ( 2009 vw polo 1.4l trendline )

The two likely causes of this are oil coolers or head gasket issues.

Here is a guide that talks about this issue in more detail:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/coolantantifreeze-in-the-engine-oil

So the fact that this started after the head gasket was replaced means this is where I would start.

I would confirm the head gasket is not leaking by running through this guide:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/head-gasket-blown-test

More than likely the head was not torqued properly if this is related. Clearly this could just be a coincidence but the fact that the head gasket is the most likely cause of this and it was just changed, then I suspect this is the issue.

Please run through all this info and let us know if you have other questions. Thanks
