I put a new distributor cap, rotor button, wires, coil, and timing chain which was really loose. I'm wondering why it is not firing? It is turning over, but it is not firing.

The valve timing could be the problem-, it could have jumped. Try realigning the camshaft and crankshaft then go from there.

Even if the timing is off you will still get spark. Are you getting spark? If not check power to the distributor.
