Came home from a road trip and shut down. Came back out an hour later to leave and the car starts then immediately starts running on about four cylinders, coughing, sputtering, no acceleration to speak of. Couldn't pull itself out of the driveway.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Just a question first. Is the check engine light on? If you don't have access to a scanner/code reader your local auto parts stores have a tool loaner and will rent you one. Also, some auto parts stores will check the codes for free. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

Once you gather the code number(s) get back to us with the information so we can properly diagnose your car.Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks for using 2CarPros and hope this helps.
