I was driving the other night and the car started to overheat so I stopped I got my scan tool out to see what was going on with it (at this point). I tried to restart my car after cool down that is when I found out that the battery was dead. So I had a friend come out and give me a boost. We hooked up jumper cables the car would would not start so I went to Walmart got another battery put it on and the car still wouldn't turn over. I tested the starter I have got no power on my signal wire (i also checked the fuel pump and no power there either) I have checked fuses and relays to note just had new timing chains put on/water pump.

Hello,

Okay, so if you are not getting battery voltage at the signal wire on the starter, you need to check the Cranks Relay and the Crank Fuse (30A) in the under hood fuse box. Here is a link to a guide on how to check fuses, if needed:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

I have included in the diagrams down below the wiring diagram for the starting circuit on your vehicle as well the diagram and callout for the under-hood fuse box for you. Please go through these guides and get back to us with what you find out.

Thanks,
Alex
