my car won't start every now and then. If I leave if set over night it will start back up. When I go to start it, it just clicks but I have power.

Hi there,

This sounds as if the main solenoid contacts in the starter are not making a good contact, (fairly common problem) have this check out first.

My negative battery terminal was not making good contact. When cold, metal contracts and makes good contact. When warm, it expands and was not making good contact. It was on the post and is as tights as I could get it but I could lift the cable right off the post as if it was not tight at all. I would turn the key and nothing. I would wiggle the cable and it started right up. I replaced the connector and no problems since. That was my cause. Hope this helps.
