The knobs come off by pulling them but you can't change the bulbs that way. You gotta take the actual controls itself out if you want to go through the trouble. It's simple, follow these simple steps:

1. Take off the dash storage compartment. Open up the door on it and pull it back and it should pop out. They're held on by metal clips and the wire connector for the hazard flashers unplug it and put it aside.

2. There's a piecewhere the little storage compartment it. It's another panel piece below the radio and it snaps right out.

3. There are 2 torx screws on the top of the radio and 2 more on the bottom of the ac control. Remove those and the radio and the control both come out as a unit.

4. There should be bulbs in the back of it. If not you might have to detach the controls off the radio bracket and take it apart. Chances are the bulbs should be inside of it.

It's been almost 2 yrs since I owned the b15(2000-06) sentra. I own the 07 spec-v model. But thats what I did to take the radio out when I changed it to aftermarket. I've never had a bulb problem so thats why I gave you 2 options on the last step. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

BTW you have 223K on it. Damn thats a lot of driving. How many miles do you drive a day lol? Did you buy the car new?
