2003 Nissan Sentra can't fill gas tank

I have a 2003 Nissan Sentra. I cannot fill up my tank. I hold the nozzle down and it shuts itself off repeatedly after about $2 worth of gas and then the gas comes shooting back out at me. What's wrong with it?

Hi there,

The fuel tank venting?Purge system is blocked, this is a job I recommend your mechanic attend to as it can be rather complex system.

that was happeneing to my 2001 Senta SE for about 1month. Then it just stopped. Now it's fine?
