1998 Nissan Sentra Fuel Pump

Car wouldn't start. Replaced gas filter. Wanted to see if gas was flowing so I had someone crank the engine and gas came through. Somewhere I heard that there might not be enough fuel pressure. So, how does one check the fuel pump and the pressure?

You check fuel pressure by using a fuel pressure gauge to determine if the fuel pump is producing the correct pressure and it has to be within specification. Seeing it coming out of the fuel line don't mean nothing.
