Pricing quote for repairs on 97 Pathfinder
1997 Pathfinder XE with 120K miles v-6 has been diagnosed as needing new spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor, and timing belt. Total estimate is $2200. Does this seem reasonable?

The whole distributer or just the distributer cap and rotor? The rest sounds like a normal tune up. The entire distributer shouldn need to be changes unless something is wrong with it.
Otherwise, about $100 in parts and an hour or two labor.
It does sound rather high.
Maybe someone else who owns a pathfinder can comment on how difficult these parts are to get to.
