Is my ignition coil bad?

I have a 1995 Infiniti G 20 with a 2.0 liter engine (same as Nissan) double over-head cam. I check all the basics like : spark plugs and wires, vacuum leaks, mass airflow sensor, ground, I changed the distributor cap and rotor, I checked the fuel pump pressure and volume.

The problem is this: the car seems like its running only on 2 cylinders. It stumbles and back-fires. I removed all 4 four spark plugs and it seems to me that the plugs are not firing properly.

Can someone give me some trouble-shooting info so that I can see if my distributor is bad. I would really appreciate it very much. Thank you.

My problem seemed very similar. It all went away once I changed the distributor. Unfortunately, that was only after I changed the MAS, plugs, wires, fuel pump. You get the point. Problem persisted, until I changed the distr.
Actually, you would do fine to get an OEM distr. As I had to replace the one I got 3 times. You read that right "3 TIMES". Before I got it right.
Hope that helps.
