Engine Mechanical problem
1996 Other Nissan Models 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 59000 miles
I have a 96, 200 sx. I,m looking for a diagram of the timming points. The upper timming chain jumped time. I have the #1 piston set at top dead center. I have the new gears ,guides,chains and a haynes repair manuel but I do not have the timming marks can you help?

The top sprockets have a little notch or marking mark, and line the two notches with the gold-colored links. The bottom one has silver-colored notches.
Once the engine is put together, you can check your timing mark on the crank pulley.
If you have Haynes manual, go to page 2A-9 for the diagram.
