Hi
My Nissan keeps backfiring, when I am driving and I take my foot of the excelarator it backfires.

I have changed the plugs, rotor, points.

About a month ago when it was 40 degrees I started my ute and a load bang came from the exhaust which blew a hole in the muffle.

I want to get a knew one put on but I am worried it will blow a hole in it again

Thankyou for any advice that you could give me heaps appreciated

Brian
