Hard to Start when cold

1995 Nissan Altima - "When cold or having sat for awhile... engine will turn over but not start. If you push
accelerator to floor then pump it while engaging starter you can usually get to start and blows black
smoke like flooded then clears up after repeated engine acceleration"

Sounds like the coolant temperature sensor, check the connection-test its resistances cold and hot. It will do this-try this 1st.

Could be also a fuel pressure problem-check pressure regulator/pump
