This will depend on how far the flywheel has been groved by the worn clutch. Sometimes the flywheel can be cut in a similar manner as you would do with a brake drum or rotor, that has been groved due to worn brake shoes or pads. Depending on the price of the flywheel (or the price to cut it) you may want to change it being as you have to remove the flywheel either way. BTW make sure you bring the flywheel to a reputable machine shop.
