2004 Nissan Altima with about 76500 miles. Battery charge light and brake light both on at same time while engine running. In park, engine will rev. In drive or reverse, engine will not rev nor move. Car does not die or run weird while idling. Manual says charging system, maybe generator belt. What is the cost to replace generator belt?

One hour labor plus the cost of the belt. Cost really varies by localities. So you need to call around and get the best price.

If it is either broke or loose belt (meaning your belt is good) be prepared to spare some cash for a new alternator. That will be 1.5 hours plus the cost of alternator.
