You may well have a ring problem causing oil to enter the combustion chamber and be burnt, also if you are using a synth oil and the engine is worn this will also cause oil consumption problems, have a comp test done to check lower end readings, and if these are reasonable use a mineral oil this will not fix the problem but it may slow it down, if the lower end is worn you will need a re ring or full over haul or a change over engine.
