My airbag light keeps coming on and now the car won't turn what could be the problem?

Most likely something in the steering column is broken causing it to jam up and set the air bag light. You should have the air bag code red to see exactly what the computer sees wrong, this will tell if the two are related. Once fixed you will need to have the air bag light cleared with a scan tool they dont automatically reset, even if repairs are made
