1994 Nissan Altima distributor replacement

Does the distributor only go in one way? In other words can I replace it myself. Also where is the pvc valve located in this engine? Thanks Matt

It depends how the notch is. Just remember this. Which ever way the rotor is pointing is how you want to put it back on.
