The car listed above is a turbo. I'm having issues with a misfire. When I turn on the car and put it in drive and put my foot on the accelerator it has a very slow sluggish start and it misfires, but after that once it gets going it runs perfectly fine. But every time I slow and stop and start over it does it all over again. What do I do? I've change the spark plugs and the wires, I've checked all the hoses for leaks, been through everything that I can and I don't know what to do. My check engine light is staying on and now it's flashing. So I know there's something majorly wrong. Please help me figure this out.

Hello,

Can you please pull the Direct Trouble Code(s) for us. Whenever your Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) or "check engine" lamp is illuminated and flashing, it means you have the potential to serious damage to your vehicle. It is known as a catalyst damaging event, and needs to be fixed ASAP. Here is a link describing how to pull the DTC(s) if you are unfamiliar with how to do it:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

Please go through the guide, if needed, and get back to us with the DTC(s) ASAP.

Thanks,
Alex
