1999 Other Mitsubishi Models Mitsubishi 3000GT won't start

When I turn the ignition, there is a loud cliick followed by no sound. Same thing happens while jump starting the car. This happened two weeks ago and we replaced the starter. Now it is happening again. Battery terminals have been cleaned. Can there be something else? Or is the new starter bad as well?

If the new starter cured the problem for a while then probably the starter is at fault. Replace and if this cures the problem you just received a lemon starter the first time
