2003 Mitsubishi Galant Heater not working

When I changed the temperature inside from cool to hot I used to hear a grumble noise behind the passenger side dashboard. Now when I change the temp inside it no longer makes that noise but the heater does not work. It just blows out air but nothing even warm. The car has plenty of anti-freeze and I have noticed no leaking inside the car. I don't know if its the heater core or if its a thermostat problem?

I don't know if its the heater core or if its a thermostat problem? Check both of them-if it continues could be an air mix/blend/mode door problem to include vacuum and actuators an HVAC control module-

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
