The heater only blows hot air on passanger side and cold air on drivers side.

my 2001 does the same ^$$^ thing. it sucks. its the gate or mixer valve in the heater core, evaporator core box. the cheap plastic cable stretches and doesn't close the mixer door all the way. you can fool with it asnd get it to work better with no new parts.
