This clicking sound does not affect the performance of the vehicle however it is annoying. During the winter months the clicking happens rarely. During the warmer months the clicking begins under the radio and inside that area. Continues for approximately 90+ clicks then stops. Does start up again once I start vehicle. And sometimes starts again during operation of the vehicle.
I hope this made sense.

The sound is being made by the little motor that opens the fresh air door for the A/C. The motor keeps turning when the door gets to the full open or closed position. It seems to be a common problem on these cars as I saw dozens of complaints on another forum. I replaced mine with one I got from a Junky about 2 years ago. It was my wifes car and she drove with the click for a few years. When I took it over I changed it right away it was so annoying. You can get it to click when it stops by adjusting the temp on the A/C. Its located behind the radio and such and is a little tough to get to.

Hope that helps
