I wish you would go back to basics and do some voltage testing instead of jumping all over the place.

Okay, so what I did is bypass the msd box. So I'm back to square one. Have power on coil and now it's back to wanna start. It's little popping so will see if get plan fuel.

Use a test light on the negative side of the coil. While cranking, the test light should flash.

Okay, then the module and pick-up coil are good.

I have responded in minutes when you post.

The backfiring usually comes from the timing. Did you set the distributor on number 1 compression when you installed it?

Recheck it as you may have it in 180 degrees out.

Correct. And make sure the rotor is pointing to the number 1 cylinder in the cap.

Yes it's on number one an jus pop. Even if we out gas in side. What we did is try jump the fuel pump for more fuel an it did the same.

I understand but if you have fuel and spark, the only thing left is either compression or timing. It is one of those 2 items.
