1999 Mercury villiger clicking noise from the front

Hello all, I have a 1999 mercury villiger 180k miles on it 3.1 v-6.I bought it 3 weeks ago it was fine before i went on a trip to NM. we took it on a 2000 mile test drive,

when we got home i started hearing a clicking noise when i make a left turn its coming from the front drivers side what could it be? thank you for your help in advance :)
