1994 Mercury Villager Timing Belt/chain

Does a 1994 Mercury Villager have a high compression or low compression motor? My timing belt/chain went up last week and I just wanted to see what kind of damage could have been caused before I waste time and money. So knowing what kind of compression power it has will determine the fate of the vehicle.

Think what you are wanting to know is engine an interference and yes it is so the possibility of valve damage and a costly repair is likely.
