2002 Mercury Sable Rough idle

I had three Diagnostic Trouble Codes:
1. PO301 Cyl #1 misfire detected
2. PO303 Cyl #3 misfire detected
&
A code that said something about rough idle under 1000 RPMs.
My mechanic did several tests and used a machine to run some chemicals through the fuel injectors to clean them. The engine runs and idles much better but I noticed the next day when I started it up it idled really rough for several minutes and then smoothed out to a slight misfire. What do you think may be the problem?
Note: I have changed out the spark plugs & wires.

I have a 2000 Sable V6 with 130K and had the same issue. Replaced plugs and still had rough idle. Problem turned out to be #5 Ignition coil. Parts/labor all came to $150. Also recommended fuel system/filter cleaning. $250. Hope that helps.
