Trying too find out why I am not getting any heat

Your effort will be appreicated. Trying too find out why I am not getting any heat. The control knob that goes from cold too heat. When I turn that knob too get heat cold air continues too come out. Normally, when I turn the control knob, it makes a sound like a vent is either opening or closing. Now it don't make that noise as if it is stuck on the cold air side. The knob I am talking about is the one with the red and blue markings indicating cold and hot. Please help me out

Hello,

It sounds like you have an issue with the blend door actuator.
When the temperature knob gets turned it controls that actuator, which switches the air door from hot to cold or cold to hot.
That actuator can malfunction and get stuck in one position.

The blend door actuator is located under the dash on the right side of the center console (see diagram).
