My wipers turn on when I turn or use the turn signal. I heard it was thewiper control panel. Where is that located and can we fix it ourselves.

Problem should be a faulty multifunction switch and it has to be replaced to rectify.

The multifunction switch is the turn signal and wiper switch in one.

If vehicle is equipped with air bags, you need to disable it prior to working on removing the steering wheel and multifunction switch. The cable reel under the steering has to be set correctly to avoid damaging it.
