Bought a nice 1995 Sable for my daughter. The car only has 64,000 on it but I have a small problem with it. The speedometer is bouncing all over the place at any speed. Since my duaghter just received her lic. I would like to know what the problem is. Any help much appreciated. It is a 1995 Sable, 64,000, all power.

It could be a vehicle speed sensor that is faulty.

Tracer here - same thing but not all the time.
Mostly when the car is going 55+

Spedo goes wherever it wants sometimes.
Good luck - hope it's an easy/low cost fix.
Mine appears to be from a minor electrical problem
