The problem didnt even give out a warning sign or effects prior to the problem.
When turning the steering wheel the car made a loud screeching type of noise. When I added PS fluid to it, it stopped up until the next day the noise returned while driving. I got home noticed all the PS fluid leaked out. When I refilled it back up, a little bit of smoke appeared around the tank that holds the fluid. I backed up the car and noticed that all of the PS fluid had leaked out excessively.
what could be the problem?
Thanks in advance.

The problem is, you need to locate the leaking part, if it's not the pump, it could be a hose, or the rack itself, try not to run the car until you have fixed the leak, running a PS pump dry will ruin it! Get a friend to start it after you fill it, then have him start it while you look for the leak.
