2004 Mercury Grand Marquis - had to disconnect the air intake system plug to change the air suspension compressor. Forgot to reconnect the air intake connector. The check engine light is on. Reconnected the plug on the intake, but the check engine light stays on. How do I reset the check engine light?

Thanks,

Dan

That is relatively a simple fix. Find someone that has an OBDII code reader and ask them to plug it into your computer. Then scan the system and then hit "clear". This will clear the code and reset the light. OR you can try disconnecting the battery and leave it disconnected for approx. three minutes. That too will sometimes reset the code.
