I notice transmission was leaking, first someone said front seal so I changed, then someone said axle seals so I changed. My leak is weird it comes up out of fill tube. When its low car slips gears when I fill it the sound is like its gulping it down fast and then a little spit up comes out. A few miles when I get to where Im going I park and it comes up out fill tube and leaks all out. Some have said change filter but dont know Very strange to me, do you have any ideas please help.I bought car for 1500 put 2500 in it within a year can spend to much more.

Thanks,

Stephen

Hi there,

What condition is the oil in, is it dark and burnt, if so go get a service and report done and get the transmission breather checked as it may be blocked as well.

The transmission fluid doesn't smell bad and it isn't burnt. So you recommend taking it and getting checked?

Hi there,

yes I feel that this is needed in this case, as the oil is coming out the filler, there is a pressure problem causing this, it may only be a minor issue, but better to be safe than sorry as unchecked transmission problems can become very expensive repairs.
