2003 Mercedes Benz SL500 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 30000 miles

I keep getting a warning light that the battery is off line.
I purchased a trickle charger but can't find the location of the battery, in the truck, to hook up the charger. I am putting the car away for the winter and want to keep the battery and computer charged.
