1999 Mercedes Benz CLK320 TRANSMISSION
i live in Antigua in the caribbean and i am having a problem with my transmission .
when you select from park to drive the vehicles transmission would not shift ,try to do it manualy and it just stays in one gear it seams to me as if the transmission is stuck in 3 rd gear .
it reverses well but just wont shift in forward gears.
could you please give me some advice it will be greatly appreciated

Your transmission valve body may be malfunctioning. When this component fails often times you will you will be locked out of gears. This is an issue that will definately require a good trans shop or a dealer to remedy.
