Electrical problem
1999 Mercedes Benz CLK320 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 100000 miles

My 99 clk convertible top quit working. Mercedes wanted roughly $4000 to start trying different parts such as pump motor. Pump Motor tested fine when I had it tested, control module replaced and still didn;t fix problem. Both limit Switches in trunk are working.

I had a similar problem and it was a broken cable on the passenger side of the convertible top.
When the top is unlatched it would not stay in the up position and now that it's fixed it stayes up fine and wokks like it's supposed to.
