2000 Mercedes Benz C230 144000 miles
On my 2000 MB C-230 Kompressor all of the digital dashboard information is missing or partially lit up. Items such as the mileage, trip odometer, clock and temperature are all affected. How is this repaired?

Very common problem. A couple of options. You can try to repair it our you can replace it. I have heard of them being repaired by carefully removing and taking appart the instrument cluster and placing folded up match book cover behind where the ribbon cable goes in, or find a used one, mileage displayed my vary, on E-bay. Buy a new one from the dealer.. $800, or have it rebuild, Try a better wrench in SC... they do it for around $400..
