I start the engine and it races for about 3 seconds and then it idles down to a rough idle and it stalls. When re-starting you have to keep feather the gas to keep it from stalling. I changed temp sending unit thinking the sensor was reading as if it were aleady hot, it didnt help. Do you have any suggestions I should try? Thank you Scott

Hello
Thanks for the donation

It sounds like you have a faulty IAC valve (Idle Air Control Valve). You can check the IAC valve, located on throttle body, by removing it and spraying it with cleaner. This will get the carbon build-up off of the spring and cone shaft. Then reinstall and see if there is a difference. If there is, then replacement of the IAC valve is recommended, as cleaning it is only a temporary fix.

Hope this helps.
