Hi I have a 2001 Mazda Tribute V6 that has been having trouble starting lately. It seems like when I have driven a long distance and make alot of quick start & stops, then the car won't start. It will turn over but it will just quit. I found if I let it sit for over an hour or more it will start again. It had only happened 2 times then recently it has been happening more often. It seems to be happening even in the morning when I first try to start it. It takes like 2 or 3 times to start it up.

Do you think I just need my spark plugs replaced or is this something more serious?

Please help because I have read other comments online that sound like the same thing as me and there has been clear answer!

Thanks!
Tricia

A tune up can help if it has been a while. Also, you may want to check the fuel pump pressure to make sure it is good. If you go to the home page, go to the DIY section and look up how to check fuel pressure. It will direct you.
Let me know what you find.
