Engine Performance problem
1989 Mazda RX7 Two Wheel Drive Manual 136, 00 miles

this is a 1989, RX-7 turbo eng
engine started, let idle only a few minutes, shut off, next day tried to start, no start, has fuel smell, `seems to be fuel flooded, tried older SE method, disconnect fuel pump, remove plugs, crank to clear eng, reinstall plugs, still will not start. What do I do next to start this eng,
Thanks, Wm Pierce

Remove a spark plug, connect spark plug wire to the spark plug you removed, ground the spark plug against bear metal of the engine, have someone crank the engine over, see if there is spark at the spark plug. If there is reinstall the spark plug and wire. Are you sure you are getting fuel to the engine?
