I have a 2004 Mazda 3 2.0 with 60,000 miles. My check engine light came on and then it died and wont start again. I took out the spark plugs after i downloaded it with a P0300 (random/multiple cylinder misfire) and the number 2 plug was broken like the piston hit it. i have changed all 4 plugs and the motor wont turn maunually even with a wrench and the plugs out. any suggestions other than a new engine?

If the piston hit the plug.....your looking for a new engine....something in the timing chain or tensioners let go...

Maybe go to your local dealer and hope for some good will on the engine work if you have records of maintence
