I was driving, my car just went dead, battery light came on. I thought it was the battery, I jiggled the connections, it started, happened again, nothing now. It tries to start but it acts like it is getting no gas. Could this be a fuel filter/fuel pump issue?

Yes it could be both of those plus an ignition issue(spark), you will need to check these. I will send some info on how to do it
