My engine dies

Hi I have a problem with my Mazda 626 year 94'. The car is driving smooth, but then when i slow down the car just dies, its like at winter a car isnt warm enough and it just starts shaking and it dies, So i was thinking its the start plugs, but what else could it be, any clues??

For us to be able to assist you, it is absolutely necessary for you to include the make, model, year and mileage of your car.

THere is no way of knowing without more info. You must see if the problem is associated with a check engine light on or is spark or fuel related. Don't change anything until you isolate the problem. Good Luck

Thanks for the advice, the model of the car is a Mazda 626 its a year 1994 and the milage is about 114000 miles, there is no lights turning on in the panel, or something similar, it just dies and i have to fully stop to start it again, and keep going , what should i do???

does it just die if you start it up and let it sit or only when your in motion... also is there any sort of sputtering or loss of power

It just dies while in motion or slowing down towards a stop sign

Check all of your battery cables,. remove the ground to the engine, frame and firewall and clean them. Do the same for the + lead.

Check your voltage output from your alternator and for a full battery charge. It may be a voltage related problem.
