Hi,
Engine hesitates when going uphill. I have replaced the 02 sensor, spark plugs and wires, distributor cap and rotor.
My next step is to replace the fuel filter. Am I on the right track?
Thanks
Rob

Do you have a check engine light and when the last time you disconnected the battery?

Check the fuel pressure/throttle position sensor/MAF/MAP sensors.

Yes, the engine light is on. I disconnected the battery then reconnected it yesterday. The engine went off, but then came back on as I drove the car yesterday.
I will do the checks that you suggest, especially the throttle position sensor.

Is it even worth replacing the fuel filter, at the same time, or is that a waste of time/money?
Thanks
